Wantage Fire Station is a retained(RDS) station with a crew of 14. The Station responds to over 250 calls each year, and is active within the community it serves.   

As well as the front line appliance it is also to home to a support unit, The catering wagon! which provides hot instant meals and teas and coffees anywhere in Oxfordshire to emergency crews.

Community fire saftey is very high on the agenda at Wantage and as such the crew are engaged in a wide range of projects, including school visits, fitting smoke alarms, and speed awareness.

This is all combined with the charity work we are pround to be a part of. Supporting the community is another key focus the station has. to make this happen as well as supporting the Fire Service Ben Fund.
